International Women’s Day celebration, organised by
the Lagios State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty
Alleviation

“In Lagos, we are focused on protecting the rights of
women and girls, strengthening access to justice, and
taking practical strps that improve lives,” he said

Speaking at the event, the Governor emphasised that
this year’s theme. “Rights. Justice. Action for All
Women and Girls, serves as a call to move beyond
rhetoric and deliver measurable impart. According to
him, “our work must go beyond words and lead to real
results

He further highlighted ongoing efforts in economic
empowerment, social protection, inclusion,
stressing that the gourmment is committed
“building systems that work. The Governor
commended the Commissioner for Women Affairs
and Poverty Alleviation, Hon Rolaji Dada, and her
tram for their sustained efforts in driving impactful
programmes across the state.

Sarwo Olu noted that the Lages State Government
remains deliberate in advancing policies that protect
women and girls, strengthen access to justice, and
im prove overall quality of life

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment, Sanwo
Olu assured that Lagos will continue to create an
enab ing environment where “every woman and girl
has the opportunity, safety, and support to thrive
